Schedule
DAY 01 (Arrival in Seoul)
Arrive at Incheon Int'l Airport, where you
will be met & transferred to your hotel. The
rest of the day is free.
DAY 02 (Seoul/Seoul City Tour/Seoul)
After breakfast, we take a tour of Seoul, including
The National Museum, Gyongbok Palace & Seoul
Tower on Mt.Namsan for view of Seoul.
DAY 03 (Seoul/Korean Folk Village/Mt.Songnisan
Nat'l Park)
After breakfast at hotel, we check out & transfer
to Korean Folk Village, where the old traditional
houses & lifestyle of 18th-19th century are
being practiced by people living in the village.
We then proceed to Songnisan Nat'l Park & Beopjusa
Temple.
DAY 04 (Mt. Songnisan Nat'l Park/Gyongju)
After breakfast at hotel, we transfer to Gyongju.
We have an afternoon tour of Gyongju inclduing Cheomsongdae
Astronomic Observatory, Royal Tumuli Park &
Bulguksa Temple.
DAY 05 (Gyongju)
After breakfast, we have a full day tour of visiting
Seokguram Grotto, 4face Buddha & Gwaeneung Royal
Tomb. We take a scenic drive to Yangdong Folk Village
Port. Overnight in Gyeongju.
DAY 06 (Gyongju/Busan)
After breakfast, check out & visit the Unmoonsa
Temple. Travel to Busan & visit Busan Tower,
Jagalchi Fish market & Nampodong Street.
DAY 07 (Busan/Haeinsa Temple/Andong/Chungju)
After breakfast, transfer to Gayasan National Park,
here we visit the World Heritage Korean Cultural
Treasure called Tripitaka Koreana at the Haeinsa
Temple. It was made during the Goryo Dynasty to
protect the country from the Mongolian troops by
Buddha's power. We visit Andong, with its traditional
style noble houses & Hahoe Village famous for
its mask dance.
DAY 08 (Chungju/Mt.Sorak/Temple Stay)
After breakfast, we take a boat ride on the lake
before we travel to Mt. Sorak via Gangneung. In
Gangneung, visit Chamsori Gramophone & Audio
Museum. At Mt.Sorak, we arrive at Naksansa Temple
for a temple stay experience. Uopn arrival at the
temple, we will change into temple uniform. There
will be an orientation informing regulations &
schedule for staying at the temple. You will attend
an evening ceremony of bell ringing, chanting mass
& Meditation course.We will stay tonight in
a traditional Korean style room with no TV or phone
bathroom facitilies are shared. No alcohole is allowed
at temple.
DAY 09 (Sunrise View at East Coast/Mt.Seorak
Full day Tour)
At 3am joing morning mass & a view of the sunrise
on the East Coast. After breakfast, we visit the
Unification Observatory at the Border for a very
close view of North Korea. Return to Mt.Seorak for
cable car ride to Gwonkeumsansung & visit to
Shinheungsa Temple. You will have a chance to enjoy
hot spring swim or sauna at Waterpia Spa Park at
own expense. Overnight at Kensington Hotel.
DAY 10 (Mt.Seorak/Seoul)
After breakfast, we visit Morning Calm Botanic Park
at Gapyeong. (*For tours Dec-Apr, we visit Yangpyeong
Filming Studio with all the movie sets instead.)
We arrive at Seoul & visit Itaewon Street for
your shopping
DAY 11 (Seoul/Incheon Int'l Airport)
After breakfast, check out. Whole day at leisure
or optional tour before transferring to Incheon
Int'l Airport for departure.
