Music Performance tour - 8 days and 7 nights

Traveling with songs is a unique experience, finding music is a wonderful way to communicate over, under and around all barriers of language, race, and culture.
Your tour will be unforgettable, priceless memories, with transcendent moments which could happen any other way like blending your voices with the local chorales' at churches, schools, village halls, or parks, etc.

Please note that the following itinerary is nothing more than an example, and every tour is individually tailored to the group¡¯s needs.

Schedule

DAY 01 (Arrive in Seoul)
Upon clearing immigration & customs at Incheon Int'l Airport, you will meet our guide and representative and transfer to Seoul, Korea's Capital City.
Check in at a hotel located in downtown of Seoul Welcome dinner

DAY 02 (Seoul - Suwon (Concert) - Seoul)
Move to Suwon (1.5 hour drive from Seoul), to visit the Korean Folk Village, a living museum that recreates the Korean lifestyle of several centuries ago.
You can witness the potters, weavers, blacksmiths, and other artisans practicing their trades in a traditional fashion. There are also 240 traditional homes and a small amphitheater for folk music and dance performance, making up a setting of a Korean village.

Return to the Hotel in Seoul following the concert.

DAY 03 (Seoul - Mt. Songnisan)
(Singing at church in case of Sunday, or touring at your discretion)
This morning you will participate in a church service, with the host choir and you singing separately and jointly, exchanging friendship with the local churchgoers.
Drive to Songnisan Mountain (a national park, 3 hour drive from Seoul), noted for great scenic beauty and Beobjusa Temple, one of the largest and magnificent temple sites in Korea. The temple houses Korea's largest Buddha statue. At a height of 108 feet, made of brass, it sits on top of a massive white stone base.

DAY 04 (Mt. Sonisan - Gyeongju)
This morning you will travel to beautiful Gayasan National Park, among many attractions to be visited is Haeinsa Temple. Reposited in Haeinsa are 80,000 wooden printing blocks which composed the Tripitaka Koreana, the most complete collection of the Buddhist canon to be found in East Asia.
UNESCO has declared Haeinsa an international treasure.
After the sightseeing, you will move to Gyeongju which is called a museum without a wall.

DAY 05 (Gyeongju / Concert)
In the morning, Gyeongju city tour :
Gyeongju was the capital of the Shilla dynasty for almost 1,000 years. In every direction one finds tombs, shrines, temples, remains of palaces and pagodas. A short distance and southeast of Gyeongju, built on a series of stone terraces, is Bulguksa Temple, a monument to both the skill of the Shilla architects and the depth of the Buddhist faith. High in the mountains, is the Seokgulram Grotto, one of the world's finest Buddhist shrines. The museum also houses the Divine Bell of King Seongdeok the Great, one of the world's largest and most resonant bells, 25 tons of bronze and standing at 11 feet high.

DAY 06 (Gyeongju - Seoul)
In the morning, biking or walking around the beautiful Bomun Lake Leave Gyeongju for Seoul by coach and check-in at a hotel in Seoul At leisure after check-in
Dinner at Korea House followed by traditional dance performance.

DAY 07 (Seoul)
In the morning, Seoul city tour - Changdeok Palace (Secret garden) /National Folklore Museum which will give you valuable insights into religious rituals and other aspects of traditional Korean life.
This afternoon, you will learn more about Korean Culture by participating in Mask Dance, string or wind instruments, or drumming at the National Art Center
Back to the hotel

DAY 08 (Seoul /Performance /Onward)
Your morning visit will take you an Academy Community, where a brief performance for the students and staff will be made.
Transfer to Incheon Int'l Airport for departure.
