Ceramic tour

Korea boasts a long history of ceramics dating back to the late 9th century, second only to China. It is no wonder that ceramics make up a large portion of the remaining cultural relics on display at home and abroad; more than 30,000 ceramics treasures among a total of 100,000 treasures are on display in the National Museum of Korea;

over half the items in the Ho-Am Art Museum, Horim Museum, and the several museums attached to universities, as well as the Korea galleries at the US Metropolitan Museum, the British Museum, and the Tokyo National Museum.
Some may say it is hard to understand Korean culture without understanding its art of ceramics.
